MELIKGAZI CONDUCTED A NIGHTTIME CLEANING OPERATION IN THE BAZAAR AREA

Melikgazi Municipality conducted a general cleaning operation in the bazaar area, which is heavily used by the public, during the late hours when the congestion decreased, and washed the streets with soapy water.
Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that preparations are being made for Ramadan Bayram. He said, 'As the days count down to Ramadan Bayram, our teams are ensuring that the streets are cleaned due to the dirt caused by the congestion in the city centre, allowing citizens to enter the holiday in a sparkling clean environment. We are at the service of our citizens with various services around the clock, 7 days a week, in every corner of our district.' During the day, our Environmental Protection Directorate teams carried out general cleaning operations in areas that are difficult to clean. Our teams worked tirelessly during the night shift, using plenty of soapy and high-pressure water to ensure thorough cleanliness. Many thanks to our teams who worked throughout the night. We ensure that our visitors coming to Melikgazi and our bazaar for the holiday are welcomed in a peaceful and spotless environment. As a municipality, we love everything about Melikgazi and work with the principle of heartfelt municipalism. Our cleaning efforts will continue routinely in all our neighbourhoods. We, as the municipality, pay great attention to cleanliness.
