ROAD RENEWAL WORKS EXPAND TRANSPORTATION NETWORK IN MELİKGAZİ

Melikgazi Municipality has commenced road widening and renewal works on Şehit Osman Yılmaz Avenue, connecting Danişmentgazi Neighbourhood with Becen Neighbourhood, aiming to provide comfortable and safe roads in the district.
Mayor Palancıoğlu stated that they are working intensively to ensure that citizens travel on safer and more comfortable roads. He said, "We are rapidly continuing our efforts to make transportation easier, comfortable, and safer in our district. We are conducting road construction, renewal, and expansion works in many neighbourhoods of Melikgazi according to the needs. Our colleagues are working diligently to ensure the safety of our citizens and provide comfort in transportation.
The need for new roads has increased along with the population growth
Mayor Palancıoğlu continued his words by stating that they are taking quick action to solve infrastructure and superstructure problems in the changing and developing Melikgazi. He said, "We are producing alternative solutions for new settlements and areas where the population is concentrated. Especially after the earthquake, there has been an increase in population in the Becen Neighbourhood as citizens have moved to detached houses. With the increase in population, there has also been a need for new roads due to the increase in the number of vehicles. As Melikgazi Municipality, we have started the road widening and renewal works on Şehit Osman Yılmaz Avenue, connecting Danişmentgazi Neighbourhood with Becen Neighbourhood. The road, which is 1 kilometre long and 15 meters wide, will be expanded and renewed. Hopefully, our teams will complete the work in a short time, and we will open our new road for service. In our district where we strengthen the transportation infrastructure, our qualified and comprehensive works that will make our citizens happy will continue. We wish our road renewal and expansion works to bring blessings and good luck to our fellow citizens.
