Stressing "commerce first, tourism first," Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that human-centered services will be provided with new term projects. He emphasized that the Melikgazi Wedding Bazaar project will set an example for Turkey.
It will add a different colour to Kayseri.
Mayor Palancıoğlu, stating that they will bring a project to Kayseri that does not have an equivalent in Turkey, said, "In the new term, we have set goals to increase tourism and commerce in Kayseri. Kayseri has rich wedding traditions. Our Wedding Bazaar will cater to every wedding-related need, from jewellery to attire, making our artisans happy." There will be merchants offering all kinds of goods for both circumcision ceremonies and wedding ceremonies. They will not only serve Kayseri but also cater to citizens coming from neighbouring provinces such as Nevşehir, Aksaray, Kırşehir, Sivas, and Yozgat. In fact, they may even come here for shopping from Istanbul. This will bring more joy to the merchants in Kayseri. Our Wedding Bazaar, which we will build right in the heart of the city, in an area easily accessible to everyone, will add a different color to Kayseri. We want to revitalize every aspect of Melikgazi. I hope that our Wedding Bazaar will be beneficial for Kayseri.
