THE FOUNDATION OF THE SELJUK MARKETPLACE, SOCIAL LIFE AND CULTURE CENTER WAS LAID

Melikgazi Municipality laid the foundation of the multi-purpose 'Marketplace, Social Life and Culture Center' to be built in Selçuklu District with the participation of AK Party General Vice President Mehmet Özhaseki.
With this new project, many functions from shopping to education, from sports to cultural activities will come together.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by AK Party General Vice President Mehmet Özhaseki, Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, AK Party Kayseri Deputy İsmail Tamer, Mayor of Kocasinan Ahmet Çolakbayrakdar, AK Party Kayseri Women's Branch President Emine Timuçin, District Mayors and citizens attended.
Stating that they are happy to bring another investment to our Melikgazi, he said, “ Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “The region we call Eskişehir Bağları consists of 3 neighborhoods: Selçuklu, Danışment and Osmanlı District. We have many services in this area. We are renewing our Battalgazi Boulevard. It has become a very qualified place with its parking lots and greening. We are trying to identify and meet the most important needs of this region. This was the old bazaar here. After the project is completed, there will be a fruit and vegetable sales place, a gym for women on the lower floor, and training courses on the upper floor. The social facility will include an Akıl Küpü work station, various workshops, children's playgrounds, a cafeteria, a fitness centre and service areas. The Akıl Küpü workstation, which will allow young people to study together, will have single-person study areas, multiple study areas, areas that allow computer-aided studies, and tea and coffee break corners. We designed it to meet all the needs of our district residents, from 7 to 70. It will really looks good on our Selçuklu District and Melikgazi very well. Therefore, it will not only be a market place, but also a social facility. It will be a place that will serve 3 neighbourhoods.
AK Party Kayseri Deputy İsmail Tamer said, “Congratulations to our President Mustafa Palancıoğlu, it is a very good project. Good luck to our neighbourhood.” he said. Stating that services are provided in every corner of Kayseri.
Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç said, “May Allah grant us the opportunity to inaugurate this beautiful facility that we laid the foundations of. As Kayseri, we are running day and night together. Our President Dr.Mustafa Palancıoğlu is doing good services to this region. Good luck with your work. Best wishes." said.
