Alparslan Türkeş Social Life and Culture Centre, which Melikgazi Municipality started to build in the Neighbourhood of Demokrasi, which has provided new and qualified social facilities to the district with the understanding of social municipalism, is being completed rapidly.

     Stating that the social facilities, parks, living spaces provided to the neighbourhoods provide services to all citizens from 7 to 70, Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "Apart from our routine municipal services, we are developing our district with our brand new projects and providing services to our citizens in many fields from education to culture, sports to social activities. We continue our projects to provide more qualified and high-quality service to our residents of Melikgazi. The construction of a project is underway in each of our neighbourhoods. We identify deficiencies in the neighbourhoods, produce and implement projects according to needs.Our services, which are performed where there is a need, are really worthy of attention. In January 2024, we are doing our work so that there will be no mosque, health centre and school left inshallah. The upper floor of the Alparslan Türkeş Social Life and Culture Centre will be a library. We think that this will be a very useful facility especially for our young people. We will bring a nice place to our neighbourhood to ensure that young people study in a comfortable area. There will be an Akıl Küpü workstation, MELMEK workshops, children's playgrounds, a cafeteria, a fitness room and service spaces in the social facility. It will also be a place that appeals to our women. There will also be a İkinci Bahar house where our elders will have a good time. I wish that our facility, which will be completed soon, will already be beneficial for our Kayseri and the people of the Democracy Neighbourhood.," said.
