Melikgazi Municipality informed the children by distributing 50 recycling bins to kindergartens throughout the district for zero waste education and awareness activities.

           Melikgazi Municipality, as the Municipality of Melikgazi, they have been carrying out many studies to make sure that they are adequately satisfied with their duty to protect nature and contribute to recycling, said the Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu,"Recycling is a very important process for a more liveable world. We distributed 50 pieces from our “Melikcan” zero waste box, which is designed for kindergartens, to our kindergartens. They are made exclusively for kindergartens. Students thank our zero waste box with voice command by voice command when they throw out the packaging. All these studies are done so that our dear children can live in a better world. Our children will be an example to everyone by protecting nature, contributing to recycling, and decomposing waste. They will also inform their families about recycling and protecting the environment. We aim to bring everything we use and throw away back into the economy. Our goal in our schools is to instil environmental awareness in our students, to ensure that they grow up as environmentally sensitive individuals and to create awareness.  We aim to make the project more effective and efficient by collecting the waste that can be recycled separately at its source.
