Reminding that new houses are being built in many neighbourhoods within the scope of Urban Transformation Projects, and the face of the neighbourhoods is changing with social facilities, Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated, 'In urban transformation, what is important for Melikgazi Municipality is social transformation. Urban transformation, which is one of our most prioritized activities, is at the forefront of our work alongside routine municipal activities. We are one of the municipalities that has carried out the largest urban transformation in Turkey. The most extensive urban transformation works in our region are taking place in Battalgazi Neighborhood, Kazım Karabekir, Anbar, and Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighbourhoods. The 1st phase project in Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighbourhood, consisting of 6 blocks, 228 apartments, and 12 shops, is rapidly nearing completion. In these blocks, there will be 2+1, 3+1, 4+1 apartments. With our in-place transformation work, the face of this neighbourhood is changing, and it will become a new neighbourhood. In the urban transformation area, we have built new schools, roads, parks, and places of worship. I hope that we plan to complete and deliver these blocks rapidly, around June.
