The Mayor of Melikgazi is Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu said that orphaned children living in the district gathered at the iftar dinner organized by the Municipality of Melikgazi, the Kayseri Branch of the IHH Humanitarian Aid Foundation and Non-Governmental Organizations on occasion of World Orphans Day.

         The Mayor is Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu emphasized unity and togetherness in the program, saying, "Ramadan is the month of blessings and mercy. On the 15th of Ramadan World Orphans Day, we met with our orphaned children at an iftar organized together with the Kayseri Branch of the IHH Humanitarian Aid Foundation and Non-Governmental Organizations. With the proposal of Islamic countries and the support of the Organization of the Islamic Union, the 15th of Ramadan is held every year. His day is celebrated as 'World Orphans Day'. We are the ummah of an orphan prophet. In our faith, the orphan has a separate place. Together, we must do everything we can to be a mother's embrace for orphans. We will continue to work to adopt these children and to illuminate their future. Today we are happy to open our iftar with you. If an orphan laughs, the world laughs. If all the societies living in the world share their tables, that is, their bread, their hearts, their love, their conversations, they will truly have peace.  I have been very happy to share the same table with you here today. May Allah accept our fasts and our devotions. We are always with our puppies who are entrusted to us." said.
