Melikgazi Municipality continues its services to rural neighborhoods at full speed.

Following the completion of infrastructure works in Sarımsaklı Neighborhood, asphalt paving works have started in a 3-kilometer area, and it was announced that the social facility works are also nearing completion.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. who examined the completed works in the field. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, stating that history was made in Sarımsaklı Neighborhood this year in terms of service, made the following statements in his statement:

“We are competing in service to 58 neighborhoods, we are touching every neighborhood. Our Sarımsaklı Neighborhood is truly a very important place for Melikgazi with its dam, water, agriculture and animal husbandry. I thank our ministers, our members of parliament, Kayserigaz, our Metropolitan Municipality and everyone who contributed to bringing natural gas here. Sarımsaklı was really waiting for natural gas; the reason for waiting for natural gas was the need to complete the infrastructure, water and sewage works and change the electricity line. With the arrival of natural gas and the completion of the infrastructure works, we started asphalt works. This year, history was made in Sarımsaklı. It was written. All the infrastructure has been changed, we have started asphalt work. We are carrying out asphalt work on a 3-kilometer stretch from Sivas Street to the inner entrance. Every corner of the entire neighborhood has gained access to natural gas, electricity, water, and sewage; and it is also getting asphalt. We are working tirelessly to serve our district. We built a well-equipped social facility in place of the old village school in Sarımsaklı Neighborhood. This place will host events such as weddings, henna nights, engagements, farewells for soldiers, and pilaf festivals. May God grant us unity. God willing, we will complete the landscaping within a month and open it to service in the middle of summer. May it be auspicious and blessed.”
