Hosting yet another conference within the scope of culture and art activities, Melikgazi Municipality organized a meaningful program titled "Where is the Red Apple?" with the participation of Academician and Historian Prof. Dr. Tufan Gündüz.

Stating that they will continue to organize conferences within the scope of Mektep Melikgazi and to both inform and bring citizens together with such events, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "As Melikgazi Municipality, we attach importance to organizing cultural and artistic events. Such events contribute to the development of society and also strengthen our unity. We have young people who receive education here at Mektep Melikgazi. Our goal at Mektep Melikgazi is to raise new Tufan Gündüzs like you, to find new Red Apples. The common thought of many people is that Türkiye will be the most important world state in the world. Hopefully, we will all work and strive to reach new Red Apples on this path. Our motivation also increases by hosting and listening to teachers like you here. I would like to thank you very much for your participation and the information you have provided."

Academician and Historian Prof. Dr. Tufan Gündüz stated, "The Red Apple is mostly defined by soldiers. We go all the way to the Red Apple. The Red Apple is formally the redness that occurs when the sun sets, turning into an apple. But wherever that sun sets, that is the Red Apple country. What Bilge Kagan called the sunrise in the east and the sunset in the west 800 years ago was redefined as the Ottoman Red Apple. That's it. Wherever the sun sets, that is the Red Apple. Çanakkale is a defensive war, but the importance of Çanakkale and what it taught us is the feeling of 'They cannot defeat us.'"
