Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu attended the "Ahi Evran Events Meeting" held at Erciyes University as part of the 2021 Year of Ahi Evran.

          Under the chairmanship of Erciyes University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çalış with Metropolitan Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç, Kocasinan Mayor Ahmet Çolakbayrakdar, Talas Mayor Mustafa Yalçın, Hacılar Mayor Bilal Özdoğan, KTO President Ömer Gülsoy, KAYSO President Tahir Nursaçan and guests attended the meeting.Speaking at the meeting, Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "Ahi Evran Events Meeting was held under the chairmanship of ERU Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çalış. A circular was issued by our President of the republic of Turkey Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, to celebrate 2021 as the 'Year of Ahi Evran'. Ahi Evran is the founder of the Ahi organization in Anatolia and the leader of the artisan and artisan group. We continue our efforts to keep the Ahi Culture alive, where knowledge meets wisdom and trade meets morality. We need to be able to convey and explain the Ahi culture, which Ahi Evran left us as a legacy, to our younger generations. We will protect the Ahi Culture more than ever in Kayseri, where the foundations of The Ahi were laid. We need to better understand Ahi Evran and his teachings and take an example from him.
