Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. provided information about the Aydınlıkevler Neighborhood Urban Transformation Project, which will begin following a decision taken at the August Council Meeting. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "We are committed to building earthquake-resistant buildings enriched with social facilities in our district. As Melikgazi Municipality, our urban transformation efforts are ongoing in the Yıldırım Beyazıt, Kazım Karabekir, Anbar, Battalgazi, Altınoluk, and Çorakçılar neighborhoods. We are conducting these efforts in one-on-one meetings with our stakeholders, on a voluntary basis, and without causing any harm to anyone. Our transformation efforts, supported by aesthetics, social facilities, infrastructure, and green spaces, are improving the quality of life in our neighborhoods. In this context, we are starting a new and very beautiful urban transformation project consisting of 7 blocks and 175 apartments on Osman Kavuncu Boulevard in the Aydınlıkevler neighborhood, opposite the old bus station. We are beginning to negotiate with 136 stakeholders. The blocks we will build in this neighborhood pose risks. We have implemented a successful transformation project here, and our citizens are quite satisfied." They've become. There are military housing units next to this. We're in talks with them, too.
