In Kazım Karabekir Neighborhood, one of the Urban Transformation projects of Melikgazi Municipality, a lottery and turn-key program was held for 9 blocks and 210 apartments.

During the pandemic process, citizens participated in the program by following social distance and measures.Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “We were happy to deliver the keys of 210 in Kazım Karabekir to our 210 families. Our neighborhoods are being renewed and transformed with urban transformation projects.” said.

AK Party General Vice President Mehmet Özhaseki, Metropolitan Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç, Mayor of Kocasinan Ahmet Çolakbayrakdar, the first Mayor of Melikgazi Municipality Şevket Bahçeçioğlu, AK Party Provincial Chairman Şaban Çopuroğlu, AK Party District Head of Melikgazi Gökhan Ülke, Melikgazi council members and Muhtars made the rules at the ceremony. The keys were handed over to 210 families.

Saying that 210 families have found their new homes today, the Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “We have delivered the turn-key of our Kazım Karabekir Neighborhood Urban Transformation Project 210 flats. We had the pleasure of delivering 210 keys to our 210 families today, in the urban transformations we realized by acting with a modern city understanding. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this project. A new living space has been created here. When Kayseri is mentioned, the Kayseri model of municipality comes to mind. I would like to thank our Metropolitan Mayor, Memduh Büyükkılıç, who laid the foundation of this study. I wish our citizens to bring health and peace to their new homes and wish them good luck.” said.

In his speech, Metropolitan Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç stated that this region is now one of the prestigious neighborhoods of Kayseri, and that he thanked those who contributed to the construction of 210 flats consisting of 9 blocks, which were completed in a short time.

AK Party General Vice President Mehmet Özhaseki said, “Our mayors know no limits in service. This area was a neighborhood with shanty houses. But now, look, a city has been rebuilt with its modern multi-storey buildings, social facilities and parks. I know all the municipalities in Turkey well. However, there is no municipality that has successfully implemented this scaled urban transformation project," he said.

Refreshments were provided during the turn-key delivery of 210 apartments during the drawing of lots.
