As part of the 2025 training plan, Melikgazi Municipality Parks and Gardens Directorate personnel received training on "plant nutrition, tree planting, and tree diseases."

The training, which aims to further the successful park and garden projects in Melikgazi, was given by Agricultural Engineer Ünal Çolakel, Technical Manager of Çağlayan Agricultural Products Company, at the Melikgazi Municipality Theater Hall.

The training, which was held with the participation of Parks and Gardens Department teams, was very productive. Parks and Gardens Directorate teams were briefed on plant nutrition, tree planting techniques, and tree disease control.

“Park and garden work in Melikgazi is progressing at a record pace. I thank my colleagues for their efforts. I attach great importance to park work and afforestation efforts in our district. I am known as the Chairman of the Plane Trees, and this makes me very happy. We are bringing large trees to our district. We are working with all our might so that our citizens can rest in the shade of the trees, our children can play, and our world can breathe. Each plane tree is a signature for us on the future. Of course, planting trees is not an easy task; it has its secrets and important care tips. Work carried out with science and knowledge is much more valuable. We conducted a wonderful training session on this subject with our Parks and Gardens Department teams. Important information was obtained about nutrition, tree planting, and tree diseases. I would like to thank my colleagues who took their work one step further and worked with dedication in serving Melikgazi.
