The Mayor of Melikgazi is Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu held an evaluation and planning meeting with the Directorate of Transportation Services and put the work to be done on the table.

         The Mayor said that they evaluate the work done by meeting with each unit individually and plan the work to be done in 2022. Palancıoğlu,"We held an evaluation meeting with the Directorate of Transportation Services.

We are ready to break new records together in 2022. With our strong inventory, new roads, intersections, parking lots and most importantly our expert team, we are implementing case studies. I would like to thank all my colleagues working at the Directorate of Transportation Services for their hard work. While many people did not work during the pandemic period, we did work on the streets and streets knowing the opportunity to do so. We travelled 250 kilometres during the pandemic period by taking bitumen, the raw material of asphalt, very conveniently. We had a comfortable period because we did a lot of hard work. We have bought over 50 vehicles for our staff to work comfortably. I can say that we are the municipality that provides the most qualified service in Turkey with our new vehicles. There are no neighbourhoods left in Melikgazi that we haven't touched. We have done asphalt road and pavement work on more than 15 kilometres in our Keykubat Neighbourhood alone. We have all the overhead lines underground. There are no more neighbourhoods where we do not make a driveway. In 2021, we have risen above the record we set last year. We have all kinds of infrastructure plans ready in 2022. We will bring our new services and works together with our citizens. In addition, the biggest problem not only of Melikgazi, but also of Turkey is the parking problem. With the increase in the level of well-being, the number of vehicles has also increased. Especially with our work related to transportation and parking, the traffic of Kayseri will be relieved. I hope that the work we will do in 2022 will be beneficial." said.
