In Melikgazi, where the joy of the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day was experienced, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu handed over his office seat to 4th grade student Toprak Sema Yıldırım.

Expressing his pride and happiness at the upbringing and development of the bright students whose excitement was evident in their eyes, Mayor Palancıoğlu said, “Within the scope of the 23rd April National Sovereignty and Children's Day, we handed over our mayoral seat to Toprak Sema Yıldırım, a 4th grade student from İbrahim Kendiroğlu Primary School. Mashallah, the excitement in the eyes of our students, the smiles on their faces gave us hope and pride. As Melikgazi Municipality, we will continue to work with all our might to ensure that our children, who are our future, live in a happier, safer, and more livable Melikgazi. We will be by our children's side with our schools, libraries, and many educational investment services. I would like to thank Mr. Yaşar Yıldırım, the Principal of Melikgazi Municipality İbrahim Kendiroğlu Primary School, our Deputy Principal Ms. Keziban Çınar, and our Guidance Counselor for accompanying this meaningful visit.
