Melikgazi Municipality has left behind 8 months full of record services offered to citizens.

         Melikgazi Municipality carried out many services from the centre to the rural neighbourhood, from hot asphalt to surface coating, from locked parquet work to parks, schools, health centres, mosques, Qur'an courses and social facilities in an 8-month period. In this context, an additional appropriation of 75 million TL was received for new investments and services to be provided. 

     

        Emphasizing that they provided record services to Melikgazi in 2021, Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “We are doing and will do much better things for our Melikgazi. We continue to give the start of new projects by completing our projects in a short time. We are building a Melikgazi, which has made a name for itself in every field.  We are having a busy and productive year. We accelerated the development of our district by making the plan and program of our projects that we realized in 2021. In this context, many works such as our social facilities, schools, mosques, family health centres, football fields, parks, roads, all infrastructure and superstructure works, and market places have been completed. Our investments are so high that we have exceeded our budget. Our budget was not enough. We received 75 million additional appropriations for new investments and services. Therefore, despite the pandemic, Melikgazi continues to work intensively. We also attach great importance to investments in schools and education. Our construction of 5 Schools, 2 Religious Education and Culture Centres, 5 Mosques, 5 Social Facilities and 2 Family Health Centres continues. In addition, maintenance and repair work was carried out in 9 schools.  This year, we carried out park studies in 28 regions. Our parks appeal to everyone from 7 to 70.” said. 

      Reminding that they built new roads in 2021 and poured asphalt at a record level, Mayor of Melikgazi  Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “We are about to reach our target of pouring asphalt, which is 160,000 tons for 2021.So far, 90 kilometres of asphalt roads have been built with 95 thousand tons of asphalt at 195 different points. As of today, we have laid 95 thousand tons of asphalt.  While 45 kilometres of new stabilized roads were opened, 20 kilometres of stabilized roads were rehabilitated. We made 115 thousand square meters of parquet.  Our goal is to make 160 thousand square meters of parquet in a year. I wish all our investments and services to our district to be beneficial.” he stated.
