Melikgazi Municipality continues to work to add a new face to Yıldırım Beyazıt and Germir Neighborhoods. It started to move the wreckers’ shopkeepers in Sami İpek Street to the new tradesmen site in the Yeşilyurt District.

Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “We are removing the area where our tradesmen friends known as wreckers are located on the left side of Sivas Street in Yıldırım Beyazıt. We built and prepared all the infrastructure, road, mosque and water closet (WC) of the tradesmen sites we built in Yesilyurt. They've now emptied here. We also support their moving. We are moving about 40 of our tradesmen from here to their new location. This is an area of 70 thousand square meters. Visual pollution will disappear with the departure of the wrecker’s tradesmen from here. This place moves to a clean, decent environment and will be much better for our destructors.
