Kayseri Students of Mektep Melikgazi, implemented under the auspices of the Kayseri Governorship and in cooperation with Melikgazi Municipality, created an enjoyable theater play.

The theater play ‘Behind the Curtain of the Window Opening to Youth’ provided unforgettable moments for the audience at the Melikgazi Municipality Theater Hall.

Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek, Melikgazi District Governor Sedat Sırrı Arısoy, The program, which was attended by Talas District Governor İlyas Memiş, Provincial Director of National Education Coşkun Esen, and District Director of National Education Hacı Kaya, opened with colorful scenes.

Mayor of Melikgazi Municipality, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, who has left his mark with his investments and activities aimed at young people, said, “First of all, I congratulate our young people and their friends who educate them. About two years ago, we launched Mektep Melikgazi under the patronage of our esteemed Governor so that our young people could become competent individuals who have developed themselves in the social and cultural fields. We love our esteemed Governor. Under the patronage of our Governor, not only Mektep Melikgazi but also GÖKTİM Melikgazi is achieving success after success. I think this is just the beginning. From now on, the number of our young people and the number of families supporting them will increase. I think other municipalities in Turkey will take this project as an example. Melikgazi District Governor Sedat Sırrı Arısoy stated that the best people to express themselves are the young people themselves, and thanked those who contributed.

Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek, stating that he found the theater play, which dealt with many issues related to youth, magnificent, said, “The school was formed as a result of the magnificent will shown by our Mayor Melikgazi Palancıoğlu and his team together with our District Governor. We had always dreamed of something like this when it was being established. I thank Mayor Palancıoğlu and our District Governor for bringing our dreams to life.” he said.

Mayor Palancıoğlu stated that the highly acclaimed play would be staged a few more times to reach a wider audience and invited all citizens.
