Kazım Karabekir Neighborhood 2nd Stage Urban Transformation Melikgazi Municipality, which has reached the final stage in the urban transformation works, has reached the final stage in the construction of 20 blocks implemented on 92 thousand acres of land.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr., who inspected the project on site, where landscaping, ground works, parking lot and social facilities will be started.

Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “We reviewed the 2nd stage of the Kazım Karabekir Neighborhood urban transformation project. In a short period of 18 months, with intense efforts, we have reached the final stage of a large urban transformation project consisting of 20 blocks and 850 independent units, covering an area of ​​92,000 square meters. We will start the landscaping, parking lot, and social facilities works of the project. We have reached agreements with over 800 citizens in total, and we have demolished over 200 shanty houses. A tremendous project has reached its final stage. Many of our companies are working on different blocks, completing a total of 20 blocks, and thankfully, they are continuing their work. I would like to thank all the contractor companies that are rapidly carrying out our constructions. Thanks to the trust in Melikgazi Municipality and the soundness of our tender specifications, we have no unfinished buildings, and we have reached the stage where deliveries will be made much earlier than the tender specifications. We are rapidly completing our infrastructure, ground, and landscaping works.” We will do it this way. May God grant our citizens who will buy houses here to live in peace and health, God willing.” He said.

In addition to new urban transformation projects, urban transformation continues in many areas, and the preparations for the 3rd stage of the Kazım Karabekir project are progressing rapidly, said Mayor Palancıoğlu, adding:

“After receiving the approval of our President and ministers, we will start the 3rd stage of the Kazım Karabekir project and hold the tender. I thank all my colleagues for their dedicated work. Because in this project, we will be working with 800 of our citizens. Reaching an agreement and getting signatures, completing all legal procedures, and subsequently tendering, constructing, and inspecting 20 blocks requires a great deal of effort. We are not only doing urban transformation here. We are carrying out urban transformation work in 9 regions. These works are spreading to many areas, primarily Aydınlıkevler Neighborhood, Yıldırım Beyazıt region, and Germir region. Hopefully, this number will increase to 13 or 14 regions. We can declare this year as the year of urban transformation in Melikgazi. We are transforming thousands of apartments. Our citizens and our contractors have a great deal of trust in us. Hopefully, we will continue on our path without undermining this trust. May our work be auspicious.”
