Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, who claims that they are the municipality building the most schools in Turkey, inspected the construction of the preschool and primary school building under construction in Germir Neighbourhood.

Mayor Palancıoğlu, stating that they will meet a significant need in the region with the completion of the schools, said, "Our preschool and primary school project in Germir Neighbourhood is progressing rapidly. Our primary school is a magnificent 4-storey, 20-classroom school. The construction of the needed primary school and preschool in this region has been completed, and landscaping has now begun. Our preschool is also an 8-classroom school. We are the municipality that builds the most schools in Turkey. We have built 21 schools." We will soon sign another contract, and our number of schools will reach 22. The future of the youth is important to us. The better the schools and physical environments of our youth, the higher the quality of education. Therefore, we are doing our best to fulfil our responsibilities in the best way possible. As Melikgazi Municipality, we are addressing almost every need in each neighbourhood. In this context, we are also completing our schools in the neighbourhoods where there is a need. I hope that this place will be ready for the second term and will start providing education. May Allah grant us the opportunity to complete all our ongoing schools successfully and open them for the use of our citizens. May it bring goodness to Melikgazi and Germir Neighbourhood.
