Melikgazi Municipality continues its road construction and renovation works without slowing down in order to expand the transportation network and increase comfort in the district.

Following the completion of infrastructure works in İpekten Street in Osmanlı Neighborhood, Melikgazi Municipality Transportation Services teams started asphalt removal and renovation operations without delay.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr., who inspected the works carried out on the 1.5 kilometer long and 12 meter wide road on site. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, gave good news about the investments made in the region.

"We are on the field in every part of Melikgazi"

Mayor Palancıoğlu, who examined the works on site together with the Neighborhood Headman Beytullah Üregen, stated that they quickly responded to the road renovation request of the residents of İpekten Street. He said the following:

“As Melikgazi Municipality, we are constantly in the field. We are in the Osmanlı Neighborhood in our Eskişehir Bağları Region. Together with our Osmanlı Neighborhood Headman Beytullah Üregen, we are addressing the shortcomings of our neighborhood one by one. We are on İpekten Street. There was a very high demand here. The road was old, and we started working to make this road much nicer by installing new manholes. Currently, milling work is underway, we are removing the road, and the road will be completely renewed in a few days. At the same time, we are building a beautiful social facility around the Osmanlı Central Mosque, which is very close to us. Families who want to drink tea and coffee, and our retirees will spend time there. It is becoming a very beautiful facility, and furnishing will begin soon. We have completed our Akıl Küpü Library, and furnishing is ongoing. Soon We will be opening all of them together. We are building an outdoor wedding hall and a condolence house in our Selçuklu neighborhood. We are building a dental hospital that will serve our Selçuklu, Osmanlı and Danişmentgazi neighborhoods. In our Osmanlı neighborhood, we are hopefully reopening a magnificent wedding hall. Our wedding hall was old, we renovated it. Couples getting married will have their weddings in a truly beautiful setting. I wish them good luck.”
