Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. said that they are trying to touch every neighborhood of Melikgazi to create modern living spaces in the district. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said that they started a transformation work in the park by renovating the Buket Park located in Selimiye Neighborhood.

Melikgazi Municipality, which completely renovated the park, designed new seating areas with swings, landscape areas, healthy, more natural and ergonomic walking paths for the renewed park.

Stating that they aim to provide a more natural, healthy and spacious environment by increasing the rate of green areas in the park, Mayor Palancıoğlu said the following:

“We continue to beautify our Melikgazi. First of all, The central median strips were afforested and illuminated. We are again beautifying a different region. We have started a new application in our Belsin region. Walking paths are made of polyethylene plastic material and unfortunately, carcinogenic conditions occur when they see the heat. Therefore, considering the health of our citizens and the budget of our municipality, we are starting a less costly, more useful and healthier walking path study. We are making walking paths from tile semolina, a natural material. We have also started the landscaping of the park. A very beautiful park will emerge with its swings, spruce, roses, boxwood and greenery. This was a place where there was a demand for a new walking path and where there was a lot of walking. This park is a very beautiful park with its current plane and oak trees. Hopefully, we will complete the work in this park within a few weeks. We will also provide you with very nice times in the summer environment by installing lighting in our new parks. I would like to thank my colleagues for their devoted work and I thank them for their efforts. Melikgazi is a very large district with a population of 600 thousand.
