Melikgazi Municipality has successfully implemented urban transformation projects in eight districts, eliminating the need for outdated and risky buildings in the district; They are being transformed into earthquake-resistant, comfortable, and modern buildings.

“Urban transformation is continuing in Melikgazi in eight districts. We inspected the Kazım Karabekir, Battalgazi, and Yıldırım Beyazıt Urban Transformation Projects on-site. Our Kazım Karabekir Neighborhood Second Phase is ongoing. Although the foundations were laid less than a year ago, the rough construction of the buildings is almost complete. I would like to thank our contractors and our colleagues. Although the work was carried out by different contractors, the workmanship is as if it were done by a single company. All the buildings have reached the same level simultaneously, in unity and cooperation. Painting and exterior work has now begun, followed by finishing work. Work will begin. All our companies are doing truly excellent work. Kazım Karabekir is now emerging as a new neighborhood. Our Kazım Karabekir Phase 1 Urban Transformation work has been greatly appreciated by our citizens, and we believe our Phase 2 work will be even more appreciated.
