The Mayor of Melikgazi is Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu celebrated the day of all teachers on Teachers' Day.

 "Teachers are the crown of our heads," said the mayor, Dr. Palancioglu said, "I would like to congratulate all our teachers on Teacher's Day. The more successful the education system and our teachers are, the more beautiful this country will become in many different places. As Melikgazi Municipality, we are trying to provide a good service hand in hand with the Directorate of National Education and the Public Education Centre and hand in hand with our other universities. It will be thanks to our teachers that our country will reach much better points. The students who will be useful to our country will be with our students trained by our qualified and equipped teachers. I would also like to thank our teachers, who are the biggest supporters of the service provided in education, on this occasion. I wish to be together on Dec 24,"he said.
