The Mayor of Melikgazi is Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu said that the domestic and workplace wastes located in the Mimarsinan Organized Industrial Zone of the Municipality of Melikgazi will be evaluated by the Municipality of Melikgazi and brought to the economy.

       Stating that the study of recycling and evaluation of household and workplace waste, which was successfully carried out by the Municipality of Melikgazi and shown as an example, is developing and growing day by day, the Mayor Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu,"Mimarsinan Organized Industrial Zone is a centre of profit for Kayseri with its production and exports. There are 404 companies operating in many fields such as food, construction, machinery, furniture, white appliances, electrical and electronics, chemistry, mining. All wastes of these companies will be collected regularly, evaluated at Melikgazi Municipality Recycling Facilities, and brought to the economy. This direction was decided by our City Council. We collect the domestic waste of the industrial zone with the protocol made with the Mimarsinan Organized Industrial Zone Directorate, recycle it and bring it to the economy. Because not every waste is garbage. Recycling makes a significant contribution not only to the environment and public health, but also to the economy. 6 Tons of household waste comes out of the Mimarsinan Organized Industrial Zone daily. We will decompose this in our facilities and ensure its use as a raw material again. Thus, we will contribute to the environment, production and economy." said.
