Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu said that according to TURKSTAT data for 2021, they are in the 13th place with 13,440 sales in the sale of housing in Turkey.

      Stating that they have realized modern urbanization with planned, programmed and realistic investments, Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu noted that municipal investments, environmental investments, the opening of new roads and, most importantly, the success of urban transformation projects took part in the fact that they ranked 13th with 13,440 in the sale of housing in 2021 according to the data of the Turkish Statistical Institute. Stating that municipal investments have assumed the role of locomotive in the qualified, healthy and modern urbanization of a city, Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "Municipal investments and private sector investments are also developing and increasing. Opening of new roads, zoning planning, 18. Substance applications, park and environmental regulations, most importantly, mobilize the private sector with urban transformation projects. Home sales data is important. Because housing sales, especially new housing sales, are the biggest indicator that a city is the centre of attraction. According to the 2021 data, 31.847 housing sales were made in Kayseri city in general and 13.440 of them were realized in Melikgazi district.  In other words, the fact that 42.2 percent of the entire city is located in Melikgazi district is an expression that Melikgazi is also an attraction centre for Kayseri." said.

       Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu added that they would continue to be the centre of attraction with new works and projects realized in 2022.
