The Mayor of Melikgazi is Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu said that 110 projects sent to the Municipality of Melikgazi for the technofest to be held in Samsun were evaluated and scored by the jury members.

          Melikgazi Municipality said that they have done a different study this year. Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu said, "This year Teknofest will be held in Samsun. We are supporting our young people with a budget of one million this year to increase participation in Teknofest from Kayseri and support technological R & D activities. As Melikgazi Municipality, we support the projects of high school, middle school and university students who will participate in Teknofest that will do R &D.

In this context, we have already announced it by announcement. Exactly 110 projects have applied to our municipality for support. At the same time, our 7-person jury consisting of faculty members from universities, our municipality and other non-governmental organizations listens to these projects, evaluates and scores. Therefore, as Melikgazi Municipality, we will offer financial and other support to the projects that will be worthy of support from these 110 projects. The development of Kayseri will be with different investments and with R&D and technology. Therefore, as a municipality, we support these studies.
