A draw was made for the tradesmen who will take part in the organic market established by Melikgazi Municipality to bring producers and consumers together directly.

The place of 338 producers was determined in the draw that was carried out in a transparent and fair manner.

Stating that the producers who were entitled to open a stand in the organic market were determined as a result of the draw, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “We have many local producers in our district. Our producer/village market will be set up in Keykubat, İldem and Tacettin Veli Neighborhood marketplaces. İldem Village Market will be open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Keykubat, Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Tacettin Veli Village Market will be open on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays. It will start with Keykubat Marketplace on Tuesday, July 2. We have determined the market opening time as 07:00 on weekdays and 08:00 on weekends. I wish all tradesmen who will sell at the local organic market good earnings in advance. Our village market will contribute to the introduction of healthy and reliable food products to citizens. Our village markets both support local producers and enable the public to easily access natural and additive-free products. Since the products are organic, our citizens shop intensively in our markets. Our draw is for our people and Melikgazi "May it be auspicious." he said.
