Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, reminding that urban transformation efforts are continuing in many parts of the district to create more livable, comfortable and safe living spaces supported by social facilities, emphasized that Melikgazi Municipality is a brand in urban transformation.

After examining the Kazım Karabekir Neighborhood 2nd stage, Küçükali 2nd stage urban transformation project and Altınoluk Horizontal Architecture Project and receiving information about the ongoing works, Mayor Palancıoğlu said, “Melikgazi Municipality, "We are a leading municipality in urban transformation. We are implementing many urban transformation projects in different regions of our city, Melikgazi. Currently, the number of urban transformation projects we are undertaking in different regions has exceeded 10. We reviewed our Kazım Karabekir Neighborhood 2nd stage project. We are talking about 1000 apartments to be built here alone. There is a tremendous amount of construction here. We cleared the shantytowns. A new neighborhood is emerging. The first stage work is finished, and now the second stage is nearing completion. Hopefully, we will hold the lottery draws here. Three very large parks are also emerging in this area. We are very ambitious. Hopefully, Kayseri will be talking about this place. This will be a vibrant, beautiful urban transformation project where we will create a new neighborhood culture with its parking lot, parks, and residential areas. May it be auspicious.
