Saying that Melikgazi Municipality is a pioneering and reference municipality in on-site urban transformation, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu reminded that the 2nd Stage Urban Transformation Housing, consisting of 20 blocks and 838 apartments in Kazım Karabekir Neighborhood, is rapidly rising.

Stating that they are continuing urban transformation projects to improve the quality of life in the district and to create a more modern and livable district, Mayor Palancıoğlu said, “We have implemented very large projects related to urban transformation. We are continuing our urban transformation efforts at full speed in our neighborhoods such as Anbar, Battalgazi, Kazım Karabekir, Yıldırım Beyazıt, Altınoluk, Çorakçılar Neighborhood, and Köşk Neighborhood. We are also working on new projects. We continue our work with the understanding that urban transformation is the greatest legacy we will leave for the future. In our urban transformation projects, we are building schools, parks, green spaces. We aim to create a neighborhood that has reached contemporary standards, with all kinds of municipal services, including the market, mosque, and social facilities. Our Kazım Karabekir neighborhood is both developing and changing with the projects we have undertaken. With our urban transformation efforts, we are not only renovating the houses, but also modernizing the living spaces and increasing the aesthetics of the city. With urban transformation, the physical and social fabric is also improving in the neighborhoods undergoing transformation. With our new projects, we are striving to make our citizens comfortable and happy. The 2nd Stage Urban Transformation Housing Project in our Kazım Karabekir neighborhood, consisting of 20 blocks and 838 apartments, is almost complete. Hopefully, we want to complete the blocks and deliver them in a short time. Melikgazi will continue on its path as a much more resilient district against earthquakes and disasters.
