During the February Council Meeting, the AK Party group, the MHP group, and the Independent council members congratulated and thanked Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu for his candidacy for Melikgazi Municipality and for the harmonious work conducted over the past five years. They presented him with flowers as a token of appreciation.

Mayor Palancıoğlu remarked, "We held the February Council Meeting of Melikgazi Municipality. I extend my gratitude to Mr. Ahmet Canleblebici on behalf of the AK Party group, Mr. Yalçın Duru on behalf of the MHP group and Mr. Adnan Vedat Kenanoğlu on behalf of the Independent council members for congratulating my candidacy for Melikgazi Municipality and for acknowledging the five years of harmonious collaboration. The unity and solidarity within the Melikgazi Council have reflected positively on the services and investments in the district. We take pride in completing our five years of service with successful and record-breaking projects. In Melikgazi, we have embraced the concept of transparent governance and have walked hand in hand with our vice presidents, council members, directors, and employees. We have worked tirelessly day and night alongside our teams to carry Melikgazi towards a more liveable and refined future. We have strived to be a municipality that reaches out to the people with a smile, and spends its resources for the sake of the public. We have undertaken and achieved our services together. Our fellow citizens have always supported us. Throughout this process, we have looked back on every task we accomplished with gratitude. I am grateful to all our council members for their collaborative efforts and contributions to Melikgazi. Together, we have discussed and decided upon the projects and initiatives that add value to our district.
