The groundbreaking ceremony for Osman Ulubaş Primary School and Secondary School, which will serve as an educational campus when completed, took place with the participation of the Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, Mehmet Özhaseki. The primary school is a collaboration between Melikgazi Municipality and the Ministry of National Education, the secondary school is sponsored by philanthropist Osman Ulubaş, and the landscaping will be carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality.

In 5 years, 21 schools with investments worthy of the Turkish Century...

Stating that they continue their services and investments without slowing down in a manner befitting the Turkish Century, Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, 'With the collaboration of Kayseri Governorship, Metropolitan Municipality, Melikgazi Municipality, the Directorate of National Education, and philanthropists, we are conducting the ground-breaking ceremony for Osman Ulubaş Primary School and Secondary School. The ceremony is honored by the presence of our Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, Mr. Mehmet Özhaseki. Three years ago, with the support of Mr. Osman and our Metropolitan Municipality, we built a school here with a kindergarten, high school, and a sports hall. Now, with the need for a primary and middle school, we are adding another new school here to meet the demand. Once completed, along with all the other schools, this place will become the Osman Ulubaş Education Campus. We aim to complete it quickly and open it for education. I would like to express my sincere thanks to our esteemed Governor, Mr. Gökmen Çiçek, for swiftly resolving our land-related matters and for his support. We are not only building schools but also 15 libraries, most of which have already been opened. Additionally, we are constructing 15 family health centers.

We have realized numerous investments, including around 30 mosques and Quran courses, as well as over 200 new parks and marketplaces. We have addressed many needs of Melikgazi, thanks to Allah. Currently, we have around 10 groundbreakings and approximately 10 inauguration ceremonies. May Allah grant us the opportunity to serve in unity. I express my sincere thanks to everyone involved and wish the best for our new schools," he said.

Philanthropist Osman Ulubaş also expressed his gratitude to Melikgazi Municipality for their efforts, saying, 'First and foremost, I would like to thank my wife Hayriye, who has always supported me. I hope it becomes a beneficial school for our country, our nation, and our dear children. Through your efforts, I believe that virtuous children will emerge from here. I wish the best for our school, ‘he said.

Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change Minister Mehmet Özhaseki stated, "When you think of Kayseri, the first thing that always comes to mind is its philanthropy. Investing in people is the most valuable investment. I believe that investing in education is also the most valuable form of philanthropy. Today, we laid the foundation of our school with such a philanthropic example.
