In Melikgazi, the garbage, tree branches, and polluted areas that accumulated on the streets and roads due to the strong winds that intensified during the night were cleaned by the Melikgazi Municipality Cleaning Services Directorate teams.

The teams, which carried out a comprehensive work against the pollution in the environment, continue their work uninterruptedly for a cleaner and safer environment.

The waste scattered around the environment by the wind was cleaned from the affected streets and roads, improving the aesthetics of the district.

Stating that the efforts for a cleaner Melikgazi will continue, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that they expect sensitivity from citizens regarding not leaving items that could be blown away by strong winds haphazardly in the environment, and said the following: “We continue our work in all conditions for a cleaner and more livable Melikgazi. Waste scattered by the strong winds that started at night was thoroughly cleaned by our teams. The garbage accumulated in open areas and heavily used regions was cleaned, preventing environmental pollution. I thank my colleagues who contributed to this effort. We expect support from our citizens to be careful against strong winds and not to leave items that could be blown away haphazardly in the environment. Our cleaning efforts will continue at full speed.”
