We are carrying out urban transformation in many areas. With the work we started opposite the old terminal, the entrance to Kayseri is becoming very beautiful. In Aydınlıkevler, we are about to finish the 1st stage, and we have started the 2nd stage. In Anbar, the 1st stage has been completed and the 2nd stage is about to be finished. We are holding a meeting for the 3rd stage in Kazım Karabekir. In Küçükali, the 2nd stage is finished, and we will start the 3rd stage. Demolitions are underway on Hulusi Akar Boulevard. "It's almost finished, construction has started. We finished the 2nd phase in Yıldırım Beyazıt, and started the landscaping. We will soon draw lots and distribute them to the rightful owners, and we are starting the 3rd phase." Stating that there is a great demand for the urban transformation works that Melikgazi Municipality has done and will do, Mayor Palancıoğlu continued his words as follows: “There are many reasons why Melikgazi Municipality is preferred in urban transformation. The fact that we have legal possibilities, the quality of the work done by our municipality..." The work inspires confidence. We are signing contracts with thousands of people. There aren't many municipalities of our scale in Turkey. The number of urban transformation projects undertaken by district municipalities is very small. We have a population of 600,000. There are 1,405 municipalities in Turkey, and many of them are not undertaking urban transformation. We are providing training to many municipalities. For us, urban transformation is not just about transforming buildings; we are also touching lives. For example, our Kazım Karabekir Neighborhood 1st Stage Urban Transformation Project was in high demand. People are very happy here. A beautiful neighborhood has emerged. We don't just build buildings and leave it at that; we built 3 schools, a health center, a market place, a city bread kiosk, a bill payment point, a library, and a park. We will build Quran courses and social facilities. When these services are good, they provide great comfort, the neighborhood gains value, and attracts attention. The 2nd stage will be similar; a beautiful project has emerged. I wish our 3rd stage works to be successful from now on.”
