The blood donation project organized by Kayseri philanthropist Necati Uçar in 15 different provinces was held in Kayseri under the leadership of Melikgazi Municipality and Turkish Red Crescent.

In this context, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. visited the blood donation tents set up in Cumhuriyet Square. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu visited the citizens who donated blood and touched upon the importance of the vital project.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. talked about the importance of supporting social responsibility projects and raising awareness for blood donation and stem cell treatment. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “We are in the city center, in Cumhuriyet Square. There is an important event that will continue on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Thanks to the support of our philanthropist Necati Uçar, blood donations are being made here under the leadership of our Melikgazi Municipality and Turkish Red Crescent. At the same time, a tube of blood is taken for stem cell treatment. With blood donations, support will be provided to patients in need of blood. People who can support leukemia patients will be identified with the blood samples taken for stem cell treatment. Our fellow countryman and philanthropist Necati Uçar, who operates in the toy industry and lives in Istanbul, supports this important campaign. Here, he gifts toys to our citizens who donate blood and also offers food, drinks and desserts. We would like to thank our philanthropist Necati Uçar, Mr. Yılmaz and his team. As Melikgazi Municipality, we also support the campaign. Turkish Red Crescent carries out blood collection and sampling for stem cell treatment here. We also thank the Turkish Red Crescent.
