“As every year, today we are holding the Mimar Sinan Commemoration and Saints' Day Rice Event at the Mimar Sinan Saints' Recreation Area. This year we are organizing the 648th event. It has become a tradition in Mimar Sinan, a beautiful event that will encourage unity and togetherness. There are citizens who have been spending time with their families here since last night, camping, staying in tents, and arriving this morning. It's like a festival, a very beautiful atmosphere. As Melikgazi Municipality, we are sharing 50 cauldrons of meat pilaf with our citizens here, accompanied by prayers and worship. The main purpose is to strengthen our unity and togetherness. May God Almighty grant us many more such events. May God grant us the opportunity to come together at the rice event. May our country always see beautiful days. I thank our esteemed Deputy, our District Chairman, our village heads, and my colleagues for their efforts.”
DEPUTY ATAŞ PRAISES THE EVENT
AK Party Central Executive Committee Member and Kayseri Member of Parliament Dursun Ataş, expressing his hope that this event, which contributes to unity and solidarity, will take place throughout Turkey, made the following statement: “A truly beautiful program has been organized. We are at the 648th Rice Festival, which we consider to be the Day of the Saints and also a commemoration of Mimar Sinan. This is my first time attending, and I was truly very happy to see the atmosphere. Seeing the crowd and the sincerity of the people, I thank my President once again. It's called a festival, but he and his team have achieved something beautiful for our district and city in terms of bringing people together. We saw people not only from the neighborhood but from all over Turkey. This is a beautiful organization both to commemorate our saints and to show unity and solidarity.” It happened. I hope that what happened here will happen throughout Turkey and that all our mayors and politicians will do whatever will contribute to our unity and togetherness with the same sincerity. I thank my esteemed mayor, district chairman, village heads, and municipal staff who contributed to the festival. It was a very pleasant atmosphere; everyone from children to the elderly was happy and thanking the Mayor. May God keep our unity and solidarity strong. I also thank the Mimar Sinan Mutual Aid and Solidarity Association for their contributions.”
