Known for his passion for aviation, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. supports education activities in the field of aviation and space technologies. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, expressing his pleasure in hosting the festival, invited all citizens and said the following:

“The future of Turkey will be remembered for the achievements of those who have turned their faces to the sky. A strong defense industry means a strong Turkey. We are charting our course with the vision of the Turkish Century put forth by our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan; giving value to aviation, science, and technology With our approach, we are putting our signature on many services. In addition to our vision project, the Melikgazi Municipality Mehmet Altun Aviation and Space Technologies High School, where the unfinished aviation story of Kayseri from a century ago will be rewritten, we are showcasing activities that will develop our youth in the fields of technology and aviation with our technology workshops, TEKNOFEST support, and GÖKTİM Melikgazi. Our 2nd Traditional Aviation Festival will be held this year with the contributions of Kayseri Governorship, Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, hosted by Melikgazi Municipality, and organized by Erciyes Aviation and Sports Club.
