Melikgazi Municipality will purchase 1 million masks produced by Arif Molu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School students in order to support both education and production within the scope of the fight against the pandemic.
Stating that they have been supporting both by producing masks and distributing them to citizens since the first days of the pandemic, Mayor of Melikgazi Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “As part of the fight against the pandemic, our municipality has done important and great work for public health. From the first day, we have provided masks and distributed them to both our employees and citizens. The need for a large number of masks within the scope of combating the coronavirus epidemic started to produce masks in our vocational high schools. Both students and teachers benefit from the income from the mask produced, and students are supported to prepare for the future by providing employment before their professional career.
In this context, we will purchase 1 million disposable surgical face masks produced by Arif Molu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School students in order to support both education and production. In our vocational high school, our students work for mask production and contribute to our country, city and schools. We, as Melikgazi Municipality, supply the masks that we use and distribute from this school.” he said.
