Mask Purchased from Arif Molu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School
Melikgazi Municipality bought 1 million masks produced by Arif Molu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School students, which is the only school in mask production in Turkey, in order to support both education and production.
Stating that they are doing important and great works for public health due to the fight against the pandemic, Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "The three most important rules in the pandemic are mask, distance and cleaning. For this reason, we purchased 1 million pieces of disposable surgical face masks produced by Arif Molu students in order to support both education and production. You know, the mask-distance duo are two of the 3 most effective solutions to keep this epidemic under control. In other words, it is not enough to just keep your hands clean, we need to wear masks and protect both ourselves and those around us. Within the scope of combating the coronavirus epidemic, our Arif Molu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School students have worked with great devotion and produced masks since the first day. They produced masks like a factory, and they continue to do so. Arif Molu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School is the first and only in this sense in Turkey. This is great success. In this sense, I would like to thank both our students and teachers. Both students and teachers benefit from the income from the mask produced, and students are supported to prepare for the future by providing employment before their professional career. We decided to buy masks that they produced piece by piece in support of them."
