Free summer courses organized by the Melikgazi Municipality every year are starting their activities again this summer, which was suspended due to the pandemic. Applications for new registrations have started to be accepted.

      It opens to all young people between the ages of 8-13 in the social facilities of Melikgazi Municipality so that children can spend their time more productively and usefully during the summer months.

     Saying that the summer courses are back in action with the start of the normalization process, the mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “As of July, we are now entering the normalization period. In summer courses, children will be able to evaluate their free time and improve themselves. We welcome everyone who wants to enrol in the courses where children between the ages of 8-13 will be trained in 10 facilities in 8 fields and 48 branches. The gymnastics course will be between the ages of 6-9. In our summer courses, we want our children and young people to stay away from bad habits and spend their time to the fullest. There are many courses for children according to their interests. We opened courses in various fields such as sports, foreign language, music and performing arts, information technologies, handicrafts, traditional games and intelligence games, personal development and education, and kitchen skills. Our children and youth, who cannot leave their homes due to the restrictions due to the pandemic will both spend their time in a quality way and be socialized with our summer courses.” said.
