On May 19, Atatürk's Memorial Youth and Sports Day, Melikgazi Municipality planted seedlings with private students in Ağırnas Neighbourhood in memory of the day.

           In order to preserve the spirit of National Struggle in future generations, the 103rd of May 19, 1919. In memory of the year, a planting of seedlings was carried out together with children and young people, the Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu said, "The custodians of the future have very important tasks for our young people. As part of May 19, 164 students from five different schools brought our cedar and ash saplings together with their families to the soil. We have entrusted these planted saplings to the future custodians. Because all we hope for is our young people.
