Melikgazi Municipality Police teams increased their inspections throughout the district as Eid al-Adha approaches so that citizens can spend the holiday in health, peace and security.
Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. reminded that the inspections throughout the district continue uninterrupted and will continue throughout the holiday. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "Our Melikgazi Municipal Police already conducts inspections continuously throughout the year, but we have increased our inspections even more for special days such as holidays. The health and food safety of our citizens are of great importance to us. Our municipal police teams, which aim to protect the consumer rights of our fellow citizens, are conducting comprehensive checks in places such as spice shops, dessert shops, markets, dried fruit and nut shops, butchers and patisseries that are busy before the holiday. Within the scope of the inspections, hygiene conditions, grammage, weighing accuracy, cash register and shelf price compliance, compliance with health rules, and expiration dates of products sold are examined one by one. I would like to thank our tradesmen who have shown all the necessary sensitivity by following the rules. I wish all our citizens a blessed and happy holiday in advance."
President Palancıoğlu said that inspections will continue throughout the holiday to ensure that citizens can shop safely and healthily.
