Adding yet another project for the youth in the district, Melikgazi Municipality has brought to life a large and well-maintained football field in Belsin Kocatepe Neighbourhood, where amateur sports clubs can conduct their activities.

Conducting an inspection on the field, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated, 'We have provided our district with a beautiful, distinguished, and large football field in Belsin Kocatepe Neighbourhood. It has six changing rooms and showers, making it quite impressive. Activities such as sports, arts, and music are of utmost importance to protect our youth from all negativity. As Melikgazi Municipality, we make great efforts to involve our youth in all events. We will allocate this place to the Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate and Amateur Sports Clubs. Starting from next week, amateur football teams will conduct their training sessions here. Thus, we will ensure that our youth can expend their energy in a safe and distinguished environment for sports. I thank my colleagues who contributed to this effort.
