Melikgazi Municipality, as every year, starts a slaughtering courses within the framework of Vocational Training and Art Courses.

Applications for the courses to be held in Melikgazi Municipality Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Social Facilities have started. The course, which will start on Monday, June 21, will consist of 5 days and 20 hours of classes. Stating that the slaughtering course will reduce work accidents during the eid al-adha, the Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “Before the approaching Eid al-Adha, we have started a course for the slaughter of slaughtering animals in accordance with its methods and techniques. In this course, subjects such as occupational health and safety, the place and importance of sacrificing in Islam will be covered. It is necessary to receive training from experts in the field in order to prevent occupational accidents that occur every Eid-al-Adha. Thus, we prevent accidents that endanger life safety.

With these courses we organize, we will contribute to these demands to some extent. The course will be held in groups. In our small and bovine slaughtering courses, it will be given theoretically and then practically. If there is a demand after our first course, we plan to open our second course as well.” he said.
