Registration for the "Organic Producer Market" that Melikgazi Municipality will establish in Keykubat, İldem, and Tacettinveli marketplaces to both support local producers and bring citizens together with healthy and natural food, starts on June 15th.
Organic and Healthy Products Reach Consumers Directly in These Markets
Melikgazi stated that they support citizens in obtaining organic and fresh products through the producer markets in the district.
Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “We are starting to accept applications between June 15-19 for our local producers who will be selling their products in our producer markets. In the Keykubat, İldem and Tacettinveli market places we have designated, producers offer the fruits and vegetables they grow in their gardens and fields directly to the consumer without intermediaries. In these markets, our producers receive the reward for their labor, while consumers can easily access fresh and reliable food. Producer market registrations will start on Monday, June 15 and end on Friday, June 19 at 16:00. Citizens who will take part in the producer markets must apply in person to the Municipal Police Department in the Melikgazi Municipality Additional Service Building in Cumhuriyet Mahallesi after paying the allocation fee at the Melikgazi Municipality cashier. Documents will be checked during the application process, and the person on the ÇKS (Agricultural Registration System) document must be the same person as the applicant. ÇKS documents belonging to other people will not be accepted. In the producer markets, the ÇKS document must be valid.” "No products other than those listed can be sold. Selling products purchased from the market or supermarket is prohibited. If the sale of prohibited products is detected, the allocated space will be cancelled. Our producers who will be selling can only use 1 market stall. For registration, a Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) Certificate, 1 photograph, a photocopy of the ID card, and a receipt for the registration fee are required. The products to be sold must be on the ÇKS certificate. For detailed information, you can contact 0352 2521890.
