Melikgazi Municipality organized "Recycling and Zero Waste" training at its recycling facility for elementary school students attending a summer camp to raise environmental awareness at a young age.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. stated that the program provided information to children about waste separation, recyclable materials, and the zero waste project. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “Our zero-waste and recycling initiatives in Melikgazi are being used as an example by many institutions and organizations. Our recycling and zero-waste initiatives are not just an environmental project; they are also the cornerstone of sustainable development. Our work in this area is an investment in both nature and the future of society. Our children, in particular, are our future. Instilling environmental awareness in them at a young age is our greatest duty. Through the training programs we organize, we raise environmental awareness among a wide range of people, from children to adults. This ensures that our zero-waste goals are widely disseminated. It is in our hands to leave a livable world for future generations by protecting our environment without wasting our resources. Recycling and zero-waste practices play a vital role in preventing environmental pollution and preserving natural resources. As a municipality, we provide various training programs at our facility to this end. We gave recycling and zero-waste training to students at a school during a summer camp, toured our facility, and demonstrated all the stages of recycling live.” "We have become a successful company.
