The opening ceremony of the "Physicians Garden", which was established in Erenköy District with the Melikgazi Municipality and the Kayseri Medical Chamber, was held.

      AK Party Kayseri Deputy İsmail Tamer, Mayor of  Metropolitan Memduh Büyükkılıç, Provincial Health Director Ali Ramazan Benli, Kayseri Medical Chamber President Assoc. Dr. İlhan Şahin, MHP Provincial Chairman Adnan İncetoprak, AK Party Provincial Chairman Şaban Çopuroğlu, AK Party Melikgazi District Head of Gökhan Ülke and health professionals attended.

     Stating that this park, which was built in Erenköy in order to immortalize the labour, struggle and memory of the doctors, said that this park will be special for health workers, Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “We wanted the Physicians Garden’s to be in an area where our doctors are especially close to the Faculty of Medicine. Therefore, this will be a nice and decent place where our physicians embrace and meet. There will also be a sign of honour in the park with the names of our deceased doctors and our doctors who have worked for Kayseri for a long time. From time to time, we will keep their names alive here at events. We will also build a cafe where our doctors will be together. We're going to lay the foundation of a mosque right next to it. Another feature of the mosque is that it has a meeting area in its courtyard. We hope we made our doctors happy. We can't thank the healthcare workers enough. Turkey is in a good position in the health sector. Our facilities and infrastructure are very advanced. In addition to providing a social space for our doctors, I also wish good luck to our facility, where we will keep the memory of our doctors who served our Kayseri." said.

       

      Head of Kayseri Medical Chamber, Assoc. Dr. İlhan Şahin said, “I would like to thank our Mayor of Melikgazi Mustafa Palancioğlu, who gave us great support in this project. There was no special place for doctors in Kayseri. This place is very important. It has a symbolic value. This garden is ours. This will be a meeting area for all events. Thank you very much and I wish you all the best.” he said. 

      Mayor of Metropolitan Memduh Büyükkılıç said, “I would like to thank our Mayor of Melikgazi Mustafa Palancıoğlu for this meaningful work. We understood how valuable our healthcare workers are to us during this pandemic process. I wish good luck to this beautiful park opened for doctors.” he said.
