Melikgazi Municipality, which has always been a supporter of sports and athletes, will provide cash aid to the Melikgazi Municipality Physically Disabled Youth and Sports Club Association with the decision taken in the September Assembly.

         Making a statement on the subject, the Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, "We are very pleased with the success of Melikgazi Municipality Physically Handicapped Youth and Sports Club.

He is doing successful work. They make us proud. In particular, we provide a separate service and support to sports clubs with physical disabilities. We will provide cash aid to Melikgazi Municipality Physically Handicapped Youth and Sports Club for the sports activities of the 2021-2022 season, with the decision of the Municipality Council. This is a service to the sport, to the athlete. Being disabled does not prevent you from doing sports. These athletes set an example to the society with their efforts. As a municipality, we support and will support their success as a determined and highly disciplined team."

         Melikgazi Municipality Physically Disabled Youth and Sports Club President Faruk Şahin said, "We use the name of our Melikgazi Municipality as a sponsorship. We train both athletes and managers with disabilities. We do our best to do justice to this name. Our successes come true with your support.  I would like to thank you and all our members of the Assembly for your sensitivity and support."
