Reminding that they started spraying works throughout the district with the spring season for environmental health, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “As Melikgazi Municipality, we attach importance to environmental cleanliness as well as to pest and fly control. With the arrival of spring and the warming of the weather, we have started pest control efforts against houseflies, mosquitoes, larvae, and other pests throughout Melikgazi district for a comfortable and peaceful summer season. We have started preventive measures against the pest problem, which increases especially in the summer months, before the summer months arrive. For a clean, healthy, and peaceful Melikgazi, we are carrying out pest control work in harmony with natural life and biological balance. Our pest control teams have sprayed against larvae and pests in areas such as green areas, parks, medians, manholes, garbage containers, and water channels. Our pest control efforts will continue at certain intervals throughout the district, especially in places where pests are likely to multiply.
